Interweaving Timeless Craft with Modern Conscious Living.
ー時代を超えた手仕事と、現代の「意識的な暮らし」を編み合わせるー
We interweave traditional Japanese craft techniques into a contemporary narrative, fitting the rhythm of modern “Conscious Living.”
Curating products that illuminate the “Multifaceted Self”—reflecting the depth, history, and intentionality of the individual.
The Continuum.
ー過去を纏いながら未来へ連なっているー
Tradition is not a static preservation of the past, but a “Continuum.”
Our collections are the tangible embodiment of this philosophy. These meticulously crafted products are not just objects of utility; they serve as mirrors reflecting both the warmth and dedication of the artisan’s hand, and the deliberate, conscious choice of the user who incorporates them into daily life.
Through this conscious interaction, the collective aims to draw awareness towards the “continuum between the self and the world,” guiding users to explore who they are within the larger contexts of society and the universe—ultimately leading to the discovery of intrinsic richness.
We believe that this entire process—from creation to conscious choice—is The Art of Conscious Existence.

KOZO SANGAYA
Produces a writing instrument that incorporates Mino Washi, a traditional Japanese paper with a history of over 1,300 years from Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, into its shaft. Mino Washi is known for its high quality, combining a delicate texture with exceptional strength, produced using the clear waters of the Nagara and Itadori rivers. Notably, the hand-making technique of Mino Washi is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The handmade pens, especially those adorned with elegant “Yuzen patterns,” are what makes them even special. Each pen features Washi paper hand-rolled and coated with acrylic resin, giving it the durability needed for daily use. It is a unique and special item, perfect for everyday use or as a gift, allowing you to carry a piece of Japan’s celebrated traditional beauty and warmth. The Mindful Collective is the exclusive representative of KOZO SANGAYA in the Netherlands, serving as the dedicated gateway for this UNESCO-recognized heritage.
